Teamcenter active workspace infrastructure
An Active Workspace Client deployment takes advantage of existing Teamcenterinfrastructure, adding several additional components.The following are the
components of an Active Workspace Client deployment:
• Teamcenter Corporate Server components and 4-tier deployment architecture.
• Corporate Server data model additions:A new corporate server
extension/template.
• War fil e deployment: A new web application that makes up the client application.
• Dispatcher: An asynchronous executor and load balancer of scheduled jobs.
• Visualization Server Manager: A rendering server for 3D visualization.
• TcFTSIndexer client: A 4-tier client application used to update the search engine.
• Solr database: A full-text search engine.
The main components (boxes in the image below) can be deployed on a single
machine or on different machines depending on individual needs.The circled
components are new for the Active Workspace Client deployment.
