The problem was found to be in /ugs/installed_programs.dat which has the
following entry for NX9:

% i; s0 q% _7 Y4 H& i3 c! F4 z[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Installed Applications]
"Unigraphics V27"="/appls/ugs090/ugii/ugii"

It should have been " Unigraphics V27.0"

Solution
, Z- M9 `+ L4 g$ T) J: OEdit /ugs/installed_programs.dat, add .0 to "Unigraphics V27"
It should look like example below:
