The problem was found to be in /ugs/installed_programs.dat which has the
following entry for NX9:

/ O* \/ Q) m: K[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Installed Applications]
"Unigraphics V27"="/appls/ugs090/ugii/ugii"


It should have been " Unigraphics V27.0"
