The Business Modeler IDE is a tool for adding your own data model objects on top of

this by separating your data model into its own set of files that are kept apart from) H' H# z4 Y1 \6 z; A( S6 N
the standard data model, known as the COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) data model.
! W2 R7 l1 F( p: o. L, J2 oData model objects are collected into templates that contain the data model for an
& s2 W4 ~/ X) G% Sapplication (also known as a solution). For example, the foundation_template.xml
% d. j% U4 K: b3 D; G6 yfile contains the data model for the Foundation solution, the base Teamcenter _9 C1 O$ T2 _( Y; e5 O: e' p
application. When you use the Business Modeler IDE to create data model, your6 v, u0 b/ i1 x; F5 E, X3 x
data model is rolled up into its own template.
