The data model is the client-specifi c model required for the Active Workspace: Z _- Q4 y W" I* }
Client feature. It is installed as the Active Workspace extension to the) ~/ w4 o( ?- g, g
Corporate Server using Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM).

The awc.war file is an additional deployment. This fil e is generated and- I$ i' z/ V: i/ O/ D1 ]
configured by selecting the Active Workspace Client solution in TEM, with all9 x9 M4 Z: D* M: H6 N3 X
features that contribute to the Active Workspace Client.; G) G4 E% H: U- q
This .war file can be deployed on the same application server that hosts the
- R y. h9 G1 {6 }7 s' cTC.ear file and the Teamcenter J2EE middle tier. This is the user facing web# g) y# H) L, `
application and serves as the host to web proxies that connect to the existing
2 n n y3 y/ \- s* aTeamcenter SOA and File Services. You must deploy the awc.war fil e on an
$ Y9 Y0 b8 u8 U1 S: C: `existing server, much like the traditional Teamcenter web client (J2EE middle1 a% v+ s2 c- j6 w+ {

The Active Workspace Client delivers 3D visualization throUGh a pool of7 N6 H& U: H6 [7 P. @
rendering servers. Each server runs a single Visualization Server Manager
+ s- a8 F2 u+ W7 S" Y5 ucomponent, which manages as many VisServer rendering processes as required.* `: C& W5 V# E! U2 I' I
For Active Workspace Client 2.0, only a single rendering server is supported.3 m; V, T7 D; n) G2 u# s7 Q
Note You cannot run the Visualization Server Manager on a virtual machine0 [7 C5 I% T7 W: M2 k

Solr database. It uses Dispatcher to execute Query, TieExport, Transform+ H- f$ L' J/ T& f1 k
and load operations. This is installed and configured by selecting the Full
4 V3 X3 e7 s: P4 j @( g% Y3 t) N$ eText Search Indexer feature in TEM, and by installing Dispatcher with- v* x# p1 u" i8 D
tcftsindexer_queryuids, tcftsindexer_tieexport, tcftsindexer_transform,5 f; P5 W6 b6 d; u7 f5 x( v4 \
and tcftsindexer_load services. The TcFTSIndexer is run directly for the2 V) j1 K$ M9 f) e
initial indexing and run periodically (scheduled) for subsequent updates.

A Solr database is required for storing Teamcenter data for full-text search. This

Workspace Client. If an existing installation is used, there are configuratio n and
