/ L- P) P. B& a4 C7 AThis .war file can be deployed on the same application server that hosts the
7 a) q* a5 A- N/ D" N7 k; a* L; ATC.ear file and the Teamcenter J2EE middle tier. This is the user facing web
. r/ W, k+ i/ [( _! B1 e5 `application and serves as the host to web proxies that connect to the existing
6 v8 B4 r1 g$ K2 [7 hTeamcenter SOA and File Services. You must deploy the awc.war fil e on an
% w8 E, V9 A. y) D# d- Wexisting server, much like the traditional Teamcenter web client (J2EE middle/ b& Y/ l- r) a8 H% d3 s

• Visualization Server Manager' n2 N d4 c) e
The Active Workspace Client delivers 3D visualization throUGh a pool of
# E/ L7 X, Y- `; d3 M# @! Zrendering servers. Each server runs a single Visualization Server Manager7 ~0 |3 w5 v9 M0 ]7 ?* m6 F" N
component, which manages as many VisServer rendering processes as required.+ F, D8 b5 G0 W6 Q5 [
For Active Workspace Client 2.0, only a single rendering server is supported.* v7 L' j0 S+ t% m' S$ B
Note You cannot run the Visualization Server Manager on a virtual machine

2 e- g# y% j& \" U• TcFTSIndexer client. t+ v+ @* S( [# L) }$ @
This is a 4-tier client used to export Teamcenter data for importing into the
+ K& x$ }/ ]" L" ~4 }: n3 ESolr database. It uses Dispatcher to execute Query, TieExport, Transform
! C: a+ F; @4 P. y( |, R" d5 u9 _* Qand load operations. This is installed and configured by selecting the Full
( ?: ~: I3 F; \Text Search Indexer feature in TEM, and by installing Dispatcher with4 X* d) K7 V% x+ I
tcftsindexer_queryuids, tcftsindexer_tieexport, tcftsindexer_transform,: G- J. ?1 K3 f& V* v
and tcftsindexer_load services. The TcFTSIndexer is run directly for the

• Solr database; D. \5 u' f% |9 {: ?9 z
A Solr database is required for storing Teamcenter data for full-text search. This
7 t/ q/ g+ m6 P8 b" x* lcan be an existing deployment or installed specifically for use by the Active
; Q+ k3 h$ ?; ^2 s0 j w' RWorkspace Client. If an existing installation is used, there are configuratio n and9 v) S J$ w# c1 D! d6 s+ W0 u
schema changes required to accommodate the Teamcenter data.. S- r: b) s- C1 R2 ?1 V
