Active Workspace as a web client

By incorporating Active Workspace inside NX, a similar user experience is provided whether you are using Active Workspace embedded in NX or as a web client. In addition, from the Active Workspace web client, you can select a part and launch a new session of NX, which opens the selected part.

The following are capabilities and characteristics of NX and Active Workspace when you are running Active Workspace web client.

•You can select any object to open in NX that is defined by the AWC_NX_OpenSupportedTypes preference. This launches a new session of NX and opens the object.
